Take it Further

The feeling of admiration for another ,,,,
That is the chalenge for january on the take it further
I did not want to do this but, I could not resist. I love the chalenges and Sharon does a great job .
Wel admiration ,,, there are lots of people I admire for there work for the persone they are ,so it is dificult to take one persone .
I also admire nature and I use it a lot in my embriodery and fabrick work so that is wat I wil use now .
Take it Further ::wat is this mean to me I have taken 2 classes with Sharon I did a chalenge last year and now this chalenge
My idea for this month was a journal page but I have changed it.
I make a quilt and incorperate the take it further piece
You have to wait for the result I just can let you see a small piece of the embriodry
There is an other part of admiration and that is one for a stitch, the herringbone stich .I love this stitch and use it a lot so on this piece it is almost the only stitch I wil use .

When I look at your work I feel I am standing on the highest hill overlooking a lake. Great depth in this piece.
I'll have to bookmark your site so I see what else you add.

Hi!
Your work might be a response to your admiration of nature and the herringbone stitch but for me it is a signal calling for my admiration. Your stitches are blended to perfection with one another and with each part of the work. Everything is integrated...texture, color, shape, and focal point with the rest of the work. Admiration...yes! This work certainly commands my admiration for your embroidery! Beautiful!

I like herringbone also, Emmy, but you manage to use it so much more skilfully.
I love how you have incorporated the colours so nicely as well
This is truly lovely and great to read about it
