cleaning up my room I found this piece
it was lost in the pile of cloth in a basket
I am so glad I found it again
maybe I can do some stitching

we have snow and it is still snowing it looks so beautiful,
but it also has some problems for the traffic.
I can not go to work .
well I don,t mind that at all

knitting

Yes more knitting .
when we visited Ribbels in Leiden I found the beautiful knit wear designed by Hanne Falkenberg
This one I like very much .
I orderd it and friday it arived so now I am knitting .
I wil show it when it is done .
There are 400 stitches on the needle .
I think it wil take some time to finish

shall I do it

The flower was a gift from a dear friend and now I am thinking to use it for this piece that I made on the embellisher

I only have to knit the sleves
the noro wool I got by Ribbels in Leiden
a great store with beautiful yarn and I hade to buy some and hade to knit
well almost done

Good advice

some times you get the right things on the right time

It was not good the thread was wrong

I got the advice to use this silk thread

and this is so very good

now I can go on with my work

Here is the finished bag I made from the bleached black fabric
embroiderd in kantha style
It haze to comparments I am very pleased with it
And I dont have so many bag I just needed this on ,,,,,,

Today it is 4 years ago I started blogging ,at first there were most friends from USA Canada Australie Sweden and just 1 ore 2 from the netherlands and now s many friends from all over the world it is always a pleasure to see al of your work and I always get inspiration from all of you

The Cat Walk

Workshop

Vlak voor mijn vakantie werd ik door Marja van het Quitltkabinet gevraagd of ik weer een workshop wou geven dit seizoen .
De vorige workshop was best wel een succes dus ik heb er wel weer zin in .
Om dit nog beter voor te bereiden heb ik een klein boekje gemaakt met voorbeelden van de verwerking van Tyvek , want dat was ik al van plan .
Dit boekje breng ik naar het Quilt kabinet dan kunnen belangstellende cursisten een beetje een idee krijgen wat deze workshop ongeveer te bieden heeft .
Het was best wel veel werk maar wel heel leuk om te doen .
Er zijn 2 datums gepland en er zijn nu al inschrijvingen goed toch ..
