On my trip to Madeira I took some little work and did some embroidery

lots of ideas in my mind

yes we are back and I want to go to this paradys right again
it is autum here and there ,,,,,,,,,ooo the beauty of the flowers ,,,,,,,,,the sea ,,,,,,,,,,,the warm weather,,,,,,,, I so loved it
I just want you to see this pictures of this side of the eiland the other side is warm and soft and a lot of flowers it was so nice here but so different .
and so wonderful

OOO I want to thank you all for the wonderful comments and the good wishes ,and yes I got new ideas .
I did some embroidery and will let you see in time .

for now I wil rest and imagine to be on that wonderful eiland in the warm sun .

Little bag

what if the little Crazy quilt becomes a little bag

What if ,,,,,

The world is in disorder

Also my mind

so something simple

to restore the peace

only working with the embellisher and just making stitches for the fun of it

Inspiration

As always the day after I got so much inspiration, I found a little space to get this going.
Green and red , a lot of hand embroidery and now I added free motion embroidery .
Tomorrow I have some time to go on with this project.
Maybe I can let you see more, I have to finish the TAST book it is almost done but this is what I wanted to do first,
The inspiration is here and got to use it before it is gone .

mandala,s and new challenge

Today we hade a meeting in of the Dutch Bag Ladies
We al went to Heerde to Willy she made the last challenge the mandala
And we hade to show and tell on the first picture you can see all the quilt
Well not all, Ina was sick so she was in bed, so sorry I hope you feel better soon Ina
And we can see your quilt

And of course there was a new challenge made by Sandra
She dyed the fabric and the theme is storm
We have to get the brain going again and make an other master piece
We hade a great day. The next time we have to show and tell is in Tiel ,Sandra lives there.

I finished the mandala it was a great pleasure to work on it .

home again

wel we went to France and there was so much to see
we hade a very lovely time there.
we stayed in a beautiful little town whit beautiful houses.

we hade to drive a bit to go to the exhibition but is was a wonderful serounding al mountens and grapes so beautiful .

you can see Sandra and Willy waiting for a byt to eat .


and 2 quilt made by Sandra ,
and one I liked so much .
I dont know the name of the woman how made this but again I love this quilt


we hade a great time , there were some freinds from the net and it is always so very nice to meet them again
we met sandy, Dijanne ,Annette ,Laura ,Ina

I read Sandy her blog for a long time and it was very lovely to meet her
see you again Sandy .

we hade a cup of tea and a lovely time with Ina and there were so many things to see we only hade one day it was to short to see every thing but we hade a great time

and it is always so good to come home

there are 3 projects I am working on and they all have lots and lots of embroidery

When I started my blog 3 years ago, I came accros an artist, Martha Green she makes wonderful Crazy quilts and she has her own way of making these quilts.
I wanted to make a quilt like that,
as you know I did start and it is going very well .

Recycling

Jude started a new flickr group about What if,,, cray quilting revisited,,,

and I was thinking what if I used some embroidry i made a long time ago ,it is in a draw and I dont know what to do with it and I dont like it but the work the time and the materials i put into it

so I cut it up and put it together again

Yesterday

Wel here is my quilt hanging at the exhibition .

The opening was very nice but it took a long time so there was not much time to see the exhibition .

We also hade time to shop before the opening, Arnhem is a very nice city to shop ,maybe I wil go back there ,, just for the shopping ,,

my Dream

I just can,t stop working on this quilt it is like a virus it takes me every time I see it

I have lot of handdyed fabrics I want to use for this quilt

and I have lots and lots of little dreams to use for this quilt

But tomorow we are going to Arnhem to the exhibition

Willy and Sandra and I there are quilt from us in the exhibition

I wil make pictures and let you see

Now I wil go and get some sleep

shisha embroidery

This week I finished a lot of things that were waiting and waiting , some knitting some embroidery and work for C&G .

Now my head is a bit clearer and I can start new things

and as you know there must be some embroidery I just love to sit and stitch .

So this is a picture of a new adventure .
