so much PAIN

wel this ment to be a great weekend we wanted to go for a short break in a hotel
but it did go very wrong my last day of work I got this pain in my shoulder first a little bit but it got so bad that I hade to see the docter .
now I am on heavy painkillers and I can do not much
I have Bursitis wel I am not happy.
the only thing I can do is some embroidery it is my left shoulder
we canceled the trip and we are sitting in the garden the weather is beautiful and with the painkillers and taking is slowly it is oke .

Yesterday

we hade a great time yesterday Sandra Willy and I we hade no special plans just to show and tel and so happy to be together again
And as always when I get home I am so full of plans and ideas so today I got a lot af work done , my first idea of my time quilt was in a corner of my room
I did not no what to do with it , wel today it came to me and I got a lot done
I still need things to do some beads some embroidery but at this point I am happy about the result ,
so after a great day an other great day

Today it is a wonderfulday the weater is lovely and it is the queens birthday so I wil wear it today

lovely day at the Zoo

A day at the zoo with our granddaughter it is always a pleasure to go there

It was warm and sunny we had a great time

the butterfly garden was Emily,s favoriete we took lots of pictures maybe I let you see some more later .

this weekend our grandson is comming to visite us so not much time for quilting and embroidery

but we love to have the grandchildren and they grow so fast .

this is the time to enjoy en treasure together

to cut and put together again

here is the piece with the metal I cut it up first and with aquafolie and freemotion embroidery it is a hole piece again
it hase to dry and than I can work on it some more

an other experiment on the embellisher this time I incorperated metal to wool silk sari yarn fantasi yarn
on top organza workend on with the heatgun and than cut in pieces
I realy dont no what it wil be it is after al an experiment
I forgot to tel you I broke one needle on the metal I was going to fast

using the embellisher on this fabricks is great you get a very different look of the fabrick

this is my last quilt for , Around the World in 20 quilts ,
There are so many things I want to do and so little time
For me it is time to make choises that is why I wil leave this group to create more time to do other things .

Laura Liebenberg is busy with the project Colours of Africa.

The first picture is the finished quilt but I was not so happy with it

bobbin lace

here are some of the little treasures I got today .
Al lovely pieces of bobbin lace my mother made
as you know I made a quilt with here lace before but she hase so much more lace and I can use this in the crazy quilt I am making at this moment .

I tryed making lace but it was not a great succes my mother is so much better in making lace she stil is making little pieces of lace hoop she can go on for some time .

More stitches and it is not easy to say it is done, every time you see some empty spots and think about the stitches you can add .

This weekend I finished the Quilt for Emily and I also finished some knitting

I have more yarn and for a new project to knit but my mind is on the stitching and beading for the CQ .

My Mother found more lace for this quilt so I must visit here for al these lovely treasures

Crazy Quilting

the first block of Crazy Quilting is almost done some more stitches I want to add
and I found some more bobbin lace my mother made and there is more to come
she made so much and I love to put it in a quilt the first quilt ever I made was one with
