book binding and more pages

The TAST pages are coming on very well and for the binding of the book I tryed the FAF pages they are ready for binding
I used many little threads and I think it turned on very pretty
so I now howe to put the TAST book togheter

Fabric art journal TAST

I am far behind with TAST so many other things are on my mind and I want to make a fabrick book of the TAST project .
I got the insperation from a couple of people
and here are the first pages








they are not finished yet ,I am thinking on howe to put the names of the stiches on the pages
and howe to bind the pages

It is so much nicer than to display it in a plastic map

Aftere the holidays,,,, and I am stil not on the go ..there are so many things going on in my mind and I can,t get it on the go .....


I knitted one sweater and one shawl and I am started to knit ,crochet a scrummble vest I made some bags this way a long time ago ,, if go back on my blog you wil find these bags

Willy gave us a piece of fabrick and we have to make something out of it .
It is hanging on the wall and I dont now what to do whit it

But today was the day and I now what to do

hello wel I am back from a wonderful trip we hade a great holliday we visited many countries

and seen a lot, now I am trying to get back there are so much things to do and so much things to read ..

I hade a great time but I am also happy to be back

Holiday,,,,

this last week was very busy as always before a holiday .
But I also hade a wonderful day with the girls on wednesday ,,,,I so love those days I am looking forwerd for the next day thanks girls I am so happy we have met .....

And here is the last day for the big trip al is ready just a goodnight sleep and then we go ..

transfere painting

I am very busy not making anything but preparing for the holiday it is coming on very soon now this weekend we have muts family visite,s to do and I have to work a lot next week only on wednesday I hope to go to visite my friends we are al coming togethere and have a wonderful day and then 2 more working days and on saterday we are going on a trip to Sweden Finland and noorway .......................
I have never been there so it is al new for me very exciting ,,,,,,

But I hade to do something and this is the result ,,,
with transfere paint on paper irioned on polyeter vlies ,

I started to FM embriodery in the left corner there wil be muts more embriodery and I think also hand embriodery ,
the piece is A4 not so big but I love the colors
so maybe it wil turn out nice.

Sumptuous Surface

Today was a lovely day to sit in the garden and so I did and finished the sumptuous surface piece

A lot of stitching and beading ,

I love to do this and I think this is not the last piece

I wil make .

I have to think on a new desing and go on stitching

As you al can see i made it into my headre I love this piece very much it gives my so much fun to make I hope to let you see the hole piece soon

this took a lot of time but is was so much fun to do I could not stop

the photo is not so very good it is to red .

I did many different stitches more than is use to

I am very pleased with the result of it

here theme is curves I made curves from cords I made from threads and painted it is on a base fabric it is black silk on top layers of handdeyd chiffon
beads and hand embriodery added

I added the color blue I think it needed it

It is finished and i think it is turned out very nice

I wil make a wallhanging of it .

I have many things in the drawers and never see it again and now i want to do something with this

but howe to make a wallhanging do I frame it ?

On Liz Plummer here blog there was a very nice way to make a wall hanging she put it on a piece of foam

it is a nice tutorial

so this wil help me on the way .

I made this for the class that is on joggles given by Sharon b next week the lesson is going on then we have to make a new design for a piece with colors

so back to the drawing bord for a new design

I started to ad the stitches and I also added some sheep wool to create dept in the piece .

I added the wool with the embellisher it worked very good .

there is much more stitching to be done so back to the beads and yarn ...

First Stitches

Today I did a lot of things al little works I hade to finish, it always clears my mind it makes me feel good and I can go on to create more .

My monotone piece is progresing I am sure now about the layout ,there is still a lot of work on this ,
I made it a bit bigger it is 13 /11 inch

Tomorow I have to work all day I wil not have much time to stitch so I wil do some stitching this evening

And I must visite some blogs I have been a little behinde Thank you all for the comments on my work I love it when you do so

The Design

the next step is to think about the stitches I wil be using

this time I want to work the figure in stiches and not the serounding

there wil be some stiching done in the serounding but not much

maybe it turns out very diferent

I got more threards than I expected ,this is for a project that is monotone.
I am stil working on a consept ,I dont work like this so it is a bit strange for me but i wil get there in time .

Embriodery Class

I signd in for the embriodey class on joggles this class is given by Sharon b I love her work and she is a great teatcher .this week was the stard and i got insperation and i made this postcard it is not finished yet . The stitches I used :herringbone stitch,detached chain stitch,chouching,satin stich,french knot,bullion knot and wooden beads and glass beads.

Felt Necklace

more playing with the embellisher I think this wil be a necklace , I make al these little things , it must be useful I cant put them all on the wall I better put them on my neck every day a different one

On a piece of black linnen wool organza and yarn also some beads

these are stil little pieces to get as many of tryouts as I can and new ideas

Red piece full size

The red piece here in full size it is not a big piece 8-11 inchs .

This is also a tryout for the coat I am planning to embellish

I want to try different shapes and I think it came out very well

there wil be more tryouts before I stard whit the coat

Bubbels

This little piece of red felt I made on the embellisher needed something more
I added bubbels that I made whit felt , now it is just oke ,
the picture does not show it so good
This is also a tryout and I am stil discovering new things to do on the embellisher .
